I’ve been seeing a lot of Atmosphere appreciation on IG lately so I figured it was due time I chime in. This is MOST of my Atmosphere record collection. I say most ‘cos Logan (my brother) has my Overcast EP, and my doubles of Lucy Ford 1 & 2. I’m also missing stuff. This is by no means a complete collection, but I’m working on it. Starting from top left they are : Lucy Ford 1, Lucy Ford 2, God Loves Ugly single, Modern Man’s Hustle single (2), God Loves Ugly (repress), God Loves Ugly (original 3xLP), God Loves Ugly instrumentals, Cats Van Bags single, Trying To Find A Balance single, Seven’s Travels, Seven’s Travels instrumentals, Watch Out single, Say Hey There single, You single, Shoulda Known single, When Life Gives You Lemons You Paint That Shit Gold, Demosexual 7”… @atmosphere music means a lot to me. The words have twisted me up, straightened me out, helped me test the dark parts of life, appreciate the brighter parts, and inspired me to write words to help me figure out me (even when I was pretty neurotic about it). Ant and Slug have given fans a lot over the years and I’m grateful. Artists like Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, P.O.S and more have helped me through tough times and helped me develop an appreciation for more honest music. Thanks..
Tippi Benjamine Okanti Degré, daughter of French wildlife photographers Alain Degré and Sylvie Robert, was born in Namibia. During her childhood she befriended many wild animals, including a 28-year old elephant called Abu and a leopard nicknamed J&B. She was embraced by the Bushmen and the Himba tribespeople of the Kalahari, who taught her how to survive on roots and berries, as well as how to speak their language.
How I wish I grew up.
I second this. Also, wasn’t going to reblog at first, but then I saw that frog and I about died. This is so perfect. I want to re-do my childhood.
She’s so cute, too.
ugh this is a dream come trueeee!
